"My son was hit in the ankle in his first game against 8 year old pitching and was worried every at bat after that one. i decided to purchase this guard to protect his leg and ankle as much as to boost his confidence. It really worked and he has fouled a ball off of it with no pain involved. Thanks for a great product that is not overly bulky which allows him to run the bases freely!"
