This Champion Series Youth Fast Pitch Softball model features a Pro-H pattern, which was designed to create a deeper pocket that can easily scoop a larger sized softball. With its 32" pattern this glove is perfect for youth fast pitch softball catchers. The Champion Series was designed to go straight from the store to the field. Champion Series patterns are designed with a narrow hand spread which gives a player maximum glove control while maintaining a deep pocket. "This is my 10-year old softball catcher's first catcher's glove. She is using it already with a minimum amount of time to break it in. I would say that for this age group, this is the perfect starter catcher's mitt. She is able to make catches forehand and back, and can pick up pitches in the dirt with ease."
