"My son is skinny, so we have a tough time finding chest protectors to fit right. This was the best out of the 6 we tried (various makers). As soon as he put it on, he knew this was the one. Great weight, great protection. Still cannot get the back strap tight enough, about an inch too big - will need to use electrical tape or something, but the others were far worse."

"9 year olds are all working on their throwing abilities. When A pitch got away from our picher, as coached my son put his body in front of the ball and stopped the ball that had just hit off of the plate. It hit him right in the chest protector. No problem he bounced up and threw it back to the pitcher. Good Show Rawlings"

"Very light weight and comfortable to wear. very durable. Increases confidence of the catcher by allowing direct hits in the chest without any discomfort. In 95 to 100 degree heat it kept me very cool. All our catchers now use my Rawlings chest protector."

"This chest protector is a little big. The adjustment strap on the back would be better if it could adjust to be a little smaller. I was too big to use the kids size, but this one was big. Otehrwise, its great. Light, padded, and holds up well."
