"Depending on your purpose for this protector, it could be perfect. I play in a men's semi-pro league & this just wouldn't cut it for me. The price is great & it's Rawlings, so you know it'll last. But, if you're playing serious baseball this isn't the one for you. It's a bit thin & that makes it that much easier to feel a 90mph fastball when it hits you in the chest. But, if this is something you're using in the backyard with your kid then it's GREAT!"
