"This glove is part of the pro preffered series for a reason. If I were a pro i would prefer this glove any day of the week. It is a great outfield glove with a great break in also the web is great to see if you have the ball or not. Feels very comfortable and it has pretty much become my best friend 3/4 seasons of the year. Great glove 10/10"

Best Mitt Ever

"I have been playing 1st base for over 15 years and I have never used a better mitt than the Pro Preferred 1st base mitt. The fact that it is 13" rather than 12.5" or even my old 12". This is by far superior to my old gloves. Break in time is a little longer but forms a great pocket. Scoops up everything. I wish I made the change a lot sooner!"

"I have not had the glove for long, and right after I bought it I had elbow surgery, so I missed the season. Even though I did not use it very much, it broke in in about 2 months. It is very comfortable, and it seems to scoop everything. Expensive but to me very worth it!"

Great Mitt
Date : May 15, 2010
"After one full season I'm glad I made the deciison to purchase this glove. Break-in was a little tough, and intitial price a little high, but if the durability is as good as it appears after one season then this glove is well worth the price. Picks stick in the pocket!"

"I have only had this glove for a week and it is already broken in , it was so easy. It is a little heavy but it is a full size glove so its ok.It may be pricey but rawlings gloves have the best feel and are the best. They are really durable. I have used rawlings gloves all my life and i will continue."

Awesome glove despite price
Date : February 01, 2010
"This August, I had the good fortune of receiving a 2-tone first-base glove for my birthday. I used it throughout the fall season, and the first thing I want to point out is the incredible break-in time. The day I got it from the rawlings online store, I put it on and said 'this is gonna be tough to break in'. I was wrong. the very next day, I took it to the field and took some ground balls with it, and after only 3 hours, it was game-ready, although still stiff. It took a lot of use through the fall season too, and despite the fast break-in time, it held up beautifully. True, it is a little pricey, but totally worth it. this is my second 2-tone (the other I've had for over 2 years now, and I couldn't be happier) and I am in love with the colors, design, and, most importantly, the play of the glove. it's like an extension of my arm. I've made some nice plays with it, and plan on a lot more before the glove is retired (which will be never at this rate)."
