"I bought the pro taper youth 1st base glove for my 10 year old because he started playing that position for his travel team this Spring. WOW what a difference that glove made! The shock free palm and forefinger area really increased his confidence at catching anything. I throw it at him from 20 yards as hard as I can and he doesn't even flinch anymore. The wide web with lower finger sockets for better squeeze and control and pro taper wrist strap keeps his hand firmly held in place so the glove doesn't float around on his hand like other models did. Buy it, and get engraved because if he misplaces it you will want every possible chance to get it back! By the way the glove was Broken in in 5 days as well!!"
