"My toddler boy is 3 years old and weighs 46 pounds. These pants fit him great -- generous fit but not sloppy looking; there is a bit of extra length at the bottom, so they'll fit for the next 7 months. We got size "small" -- 2 pairs. Before this purchase, we owned 2 pairs of the "XS" that he grew out of [our boy loves baseball!]. Our first pair took a beating, but never ripped. Of course, the toddler is not sliding into bases yet; nevertheless, the pants were always covered with grass stains & dirt, but washed well. We'll keep buying as he grows."
