Safety Standards for Baseball and Softball Helmets
Rawlings Batting Helmets, Faceguards, Catcher's Helmets and Faceguards meet or exceed the NOCSAE standards. You will see the NOCSAE seal is imprinted on the outside rear portion of the shell of each helmet, faceguard and facemask.
The National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE) is a nonprofit charitable organization and a leading force in the effort to improve athletic equipment and as a result, reduce injuries. NOCSAE develops performance standards for protective equipment used in a variety of sports - Football, Baseball/Softball, Hockey, Lacrosse, Polo and Soccer.
