"I just purchased this for my 7yr old son and we both think it's great. The fit is perfect, the design is comprehensive and the price is right. After researching what is available for the younger end of the youth spectrum I decided to purchase both this one and another from a different manufacturer that appeared to spec out very well and there was just no comparison between the two. The Zoombang from my son's perspective was all about fit and comfort, for me it is all about safety and while we have not yet had it put to the test (and truly hope we do not have to) the concept of the concept appears to be well thought out."

"This protective shirt is very innovative. My 12 year old son didn't believe it would protect him as well as his old Heart Guard shirt at first. I actually had to prove it would do what Rawlings claimed (solidify on impact). After seeing the proof, he tried it on and said it is more comfortable than his old shirt. Now he loves it! Rawlings needs to come out with a catcher's version (heart guard and padding in the rib/side area for those nasty bounced pitches)."
