"bought this for the knot hole team i coach. i cant really comment on durability, as it has only been used in two games and 4-5 practices, but thus far the protector has been great. being a knot hole league, the little guys definitly get hit with balls quite a bit, as they do not catch the ball every time, and it bounces right off them. has a great look, provides more than acceptable protection, and being rawlings i am sure it will hold up. rawlings has the BEST customer service, top notch in all respects."

"Bought this for son's 5th birthday. He's a big 5 and this is big on him, but given how fast they grow I think next season it will be perfect. It's well-constructed, looks great, and does a good job. Memory foam is excellent. Too soon to say about durability, but I expect it will last a long time. Highly recommended."

"All the Rawlings catchers gear we love. Being a catcher in my youth I wish I had had it back then. The only issue I have with it is the straps are too long. My son is long and thin so the straps at their shortest length are still a bit too long. Don't know what can be done about it. Any suggestions?"

"Great value, colors match which is nice to see. Could be a tad longer in the groin but is acceptable nonetheless. Nice padding, good fit. For a first protector the price is right!"
