"This is a great helmet. It took us a while to get it to fit our catchers properly. The chin pad was just a little too low for their liking which had them tilting their head forward to look out of the mask. Once we got it put in a place that they liked the helmet is fantastic. Very lightweight and durable. This helmet will not slow the catchers down like some of the bigger bulkier ones. I have had each of my catchers say that this mask doesn't absorb shock like one of our older Rawlings helmets did. When I tried it out I couldn't notice a difference though."

"My son is a 12yr old travel baseball catcher in Florida, plays year round. We tried all helmets on. He had the Cool-Flo youth when he was younger and has advanced to the adult. This is the most comfortable helmet for him. It was the only one that did not irritate his neck when removing quickly. We play double headers in June, in FL, and he usually catches both games. The light and airy helmet allows him to stay cool and perform at his best."
