Handcrafted from the top 5% of steer hides and the best pro grade lace, Heart of the Hide glove durability remains unmatched. The renowned CODE 55 Horween leather has been used in Major League Baseball for many years and is unmatched in the industry. The tanning process is engineered to produce leather with superior strength and long lasting wear and it is lined with deer skin for a soft feel. It's a Rawlings!

"I'm 6'2"/177 and play in a 45-50 year old league. I didn't need a great mitt, but couldn't resist this one when I saw it. It's is a great mitt. The Heart of the Hide series has great quality leather. I've only been working it as a 2-hinge break-in (my preference) for a week and it's already starting to accept it. Just play catch and work the heell and it will break in. The black piping is also real leather. The size, at 12 3/4, is perfect for me and plenty large. The extra padding reduces sting and has a comfortable inside. I can't rate performance yet, but anticipate it to be excellent.It's got that big red Rawlings patch on the back that's still cool."
