"This is a nice glove, I use it as a back up for my Pro Prefered Pros 12 MTB. The glove is light and stays cool well, only draw back for me is the palm seems to be a little thinner than my Pro P's translating a bit of sting back to the hand every once in a while if you are playing catch. The glove is an absolute hoover at 3rd or SS it snags balls effortlessly. Great pattern and something different in the arsenal."

"The Heart of the Hide Pro Mesh is a lightweight durable glove. It has a relatively short break-in period. Notwithstanding the usual Rawlings quality, I prefer the more traditional Heart of the Hide all leather glove like the Pro217P. I wish that Rawlings would reconsider abandoning that mid-level cost, high quality middle infielder option."

"Its a very light glove considering its a heart of the hide glove. But i wish it would hold its shape a little better. And some more color options would be nice too. But still overall a good second basemens glove."

"i Had bought this glove off rawlings website and it had got back ordered. although i did not give up on this glove i ordered it off a new site. this glove is very light and soft firm leather. this size is perfect for a middle infielder. this glove is big step up from a golden glove series"

"I reluctantly purchased the PRO217-2PM Heart of Hide glove for my freshman son. He did a lot of research o the web and settled on it. I had a hard time with such a high priced glove but it was worth it. I've been coaching youth and competitive baseball for years. This glove has a quality that I never imagined in a glove. Break in time was about 5 practices, leather is soft and easy but durable. In the first week the varsity players continuously wanted to try it out and LOVED it. Thanks Rawlings for opening my eyes."
