"This glove was intended just a temporary buy after a previous glove failed midway through the season. Due to the low price, it was a good fit. I did not have this exact model, I had the pitcher version. After the end of its first year, the glove was well broken in and working perfectly. I ended up using it for the following year and it finished that season as well. This year however, was different. The glove didn't even make through the first practice without the laces at the wrist and between the fingers tearing. This was a decent glove for what the original price was 3 years ago of $70, however I would not recommend this for any players who are at the professional size field level. And now I am still in the process of breaking in a new glove that is the replacement for this model."

Good Glove

"This is the 2nd Sandlot glove I've bought. What attracted me was the way this glove looked. From experience from my first Sandlot glove, it's best to not use glove oil during the break-in process. Using oil takes away the look of the glove and turns it into a very dark, smooth brown. If you like the light-brown shade of the glove, break it in the old fasioned way-playing catch. Otherwise, it breaks in quickly. Took me 3 days from buying it in the store and just throwing a ball into it on the way home, to being game ready. Excellent glove for playing catch with the kid or pick-up games every now and then. I use this glove at SS and 2nd."
