"Rawlings Heart of the Hide leather w/mesh backs are a good design concept. The mesh makes the glove lighter weight than an all over leather glove, without sacrificing durability. In this series I have a 3rd base/pitchers glove which out of the box was just about game ready. The catchers glove pattern,to break in took about 15 to 20 hours of playing catch. If you are looking for a decent game ready catchers glove buy the Gold Glove Gamer model. If you already have a broken in catchers glove, and the time on the side to break in a new one, buy this Heart of the Hide with mesh, or an all over Heart of the Hide model. Catchers gloves have a longer break in period than other position gloves."
