"My 10 year old hit his first home run with a Rawlings bat...then he went to "higher end" bats made by other companies...a power slum happened. Today we got the 5150 VELO and the first pitch he saw was a ball the next pitch (welcome back to RAWLINGS) he hit a line drive that I did not see land, but at the 200 foot fence the ball was still going! The coaches from the other team said they think where they saw it land was close to 250 feet!!! This bat is priced perfect! The results are a very good/great bat! He has already asked for the Senior version for summer travel ball and yes he will be getting it!"
