These wood bat are classified as Blem bats. The blem bat will hit to its capacity.

Solid Performace - can't find the blem

Good backup

"I use this 32" as a backup to my 33" composite. The balance feels good, ball sounds a lot better off the bat than the composite. The blem is due to the finishing paint having small drip marks which was easily sanded down with fine sandpaper."

Sweet Deal: Purchased Special Blem Bats

"I was very happy with my purchase of these "blem" bats. I compared them to the prestine bats of the same type and their was little difference, other then a lettter or two not filled in with the black paint that is used. What a deal... Would definitely buy again when offerred."

Disappointing

"Usually a fan of Rawlings stuff but this was a huge disappointment. Bat only used for tee work & soft toss and within three weeks began to splinter and crack. I knew it was a blemished bat but product description said blemish would be paint type issue and that the bat was not compromised. NOT TRUE ~ bat is now unusable with pieces flying off…Bad! See Photos!"
